Friday afternoon and Saturday conditions will support rapid fire growth. Lightning is forecast for the region Saturday night through Sunday morning. Conditions are expected to moderate Sunday night and possible some precipitation over parts of the coast range. We are preparing with organization and communications with staff and partners - landowners and rural fire departments.
For industrial fire precaution level, we expect to remain at IFPL Level 2 through Monday, and will continue to monitor fuels and the weather forecast.
