Equipment Fire

At about 4:45 a.m. this morning, ODF received a report of an equipment fire in an active logging operation.  The Forest Grove District sent an ODF engine from the Panther Creek guard station to assist.  The Operator had all the required fire equipment on site, and was able to effectively extinguish the equipment.  When the ODF engine arrived, they provided assistance to the logging crew in suppressing a couple a small spot fires.  This turned out to be a great example of the complete and coordinated system working just as it should.
