Parson Road Fire
Yesterday, 9/13/17, the Forest Grove District sent two engines to the grass fire just off Parson Road in Gales Creek. This was to provide mutual aide to the Forest Grove RFD. With the combined efforts of the departments the fire was contained at about an acre in size.
Even with the less extreme temperatures as of late, the vegetation out there is still very dry and the risk of new fires to start and grow continues.
