The Oregon Department of Forestry has responded to numerous calls in the last few weeks due to escaped debris and/or slash burns. Burn legally, be careful and monitor your piles. Burning logging slash always requires a permit through the Oregon Department of Forestry.
This was an escaped fire from May 16th, 2018. It was a single pile that quickly turned in to 15 acres.
