Fire Season Update - June 20, 2016

This cooler damp weather has held off fire season a little bit. Today's forecast calls for a cool week with showers  likely Thursday and Friday.  After that, the forecast calls for a warming trend prior to the 4th of July weekend. Fuels are about average for this time of year.  All  this points to a likely start of fire season around the 4th of July. More to come as the weeks unfold.
