An ODF Strike Team of engines reported back from the Eagle Creek Fire. The strike team leader is Brandon Carr from Columbia City and there is an engine from Forest Grove and Columbia City both there as well. They started off on the west end of the fire and then spent a couple days along I-84 near Bridal Veil and Warrendale where they helped conduct burn out along the highway. They then went to the SE contingency line to assist in brushing line for approximately 10 miles. Today (day 9, Wednesday), they got moved to Cascade Locks to assist with the head of the fire pushing east towards Hood River.
