Washington County will enact burn ban until further notice.

The Washington County Fire Defense Board  will enact a burn ban within Washington County on Thursday, May 9, at 0700.

 

Restrictions include:

 

• Backyard burning

• Agricultural burning

• Land clearing or slash burning.

 

The burn ban will remain in effect until weather conditions minimize the fire danger.

 

The burn ban does not include recreational burning (backyard/outdoor fire pits), but caution should be exercised.
