Forest Grove District Enters High Fire Danger and IFPL Level 2

With Summer temperatures rising creating a high fire danger in our forests, the Forest Grove  district entered an Industrial Fire Precaution Level of 2 at 0100 this morning. 

 

For forest workers, this means a Limited Shutdown.   The following may operate only between 8pm and 1pm:

 

• Power saws, except at loading sites
• Feller-bunchers with rotary head saws
• Cable yarding
• Blasting
• Welding, cutting, or grinding of metal

For all other visitors to our forests, Regulated Use remains in effect.
